Hunger and Homelessness Week 

Campus Kitchen is partnering with VSC, Campus Life, IPE, Amnesty International, Nourish International, Hillel, and Habitat for Humanity to sponsor this year's Hunger and Homelessness Week November 12th-20th.  Hunger and Homelessness Week will include Turkeypalooza. All week VSC will be running the Penny Campaign to benefit Samaritan's Ministries. A complete list of events is below:

Saturday 11/12: Winston Salem Urban Plunge (all day) & habitat for Humanity volunteering (all day)
Sunday 11/13:  3pm in ZSR Library (4th floor) Amy Liang '12 presents her summer research.  "Linkages between Homelessness, Diet, and Diabetes in Winston-Salem, NC."
Turkeypalooza shifts:  12-2pm(cooking) 2-4pm(delivery) 4:45-7pm(delivery)
Monday 11/14:  5pm in Annenburg Forum (Carswell Hall).  Campus Kitchen, Campus Life, and the Institute for Public Engagement hosts Doug Coutts, Visiting Professor at Auburn University and UN World Food Program representative for "Challenging Hunger: reflections on fighting global hunger at home and abroad"
Turkeypalooza shifts: 4-6 (pickup) 4::45-7pm(delivery) 5-7pm(cooking) 7-9pm(cooking) 
Tuesday 11/15: Habitat for Humanity sponsors Student Union's Trivia Night in Shorty's @8pm 
Turkeypalooza shifts: 4-6(pickup) 4-6:30(delivery) 5-6:30(delivery)
Wednesday 11/16: 7pm Annenburg Forum (Carswell Hall) Documentary Film Program shows a screening of a film on the world hunger crisis.  The title is not available for promotion as the film is under consideration at several festivals.

Thursday 11/17: 6-8pm Luter Residence Hall Lounge.  Amnesty International Hunger Banquet featuring Chi Rho
